By using UmrahScanr or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. About UmrahScanr
UmrahScanr is a package-discovery and agency-referral platform. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, visa agent, airline, hotel, payment processor or government authority. Independent travel agencies supply and fulfil the packages shown on the platform.
2. No booking or payment service
An enquiry is not a reservation, booking or confirmation. UmrahScanr does not accept customer payments or conclude travel contracts. Any booking, payment, visa assistance, refund, cancellation or travel-service arrangement is made directly between you and the relevant agency.
3. Package information
Agencies provide package information, including prices, dates, availability, hotels, flights, room-sharing arrangements, inclusions and cancellation terms. Details may change. Before paying or committing, obtain the agency's final written quotation and verify the itinerary, availability, visa requirements, payment-account name and all applicable terms.
4. Agency listing and verification
Submitting or listing an agency does not automatically mean approval or verification. “UmrahScanr Verified” has the limited meaning described in our Verification Policy. It is not a government certification, financial guarantee or guarantee of service quality, performance or refunds.
5. Enquiries and WhatsApp
When you submit a package enquiry, UmrahScanr stores the submitted details and then opens a WhatsApp handoff using the number and message shown to you. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. The current handoff may be routed through UmrahScanr before an agency responds; the button label does not itself create a direct contractual relationship or confirmed booking.
6. Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, use the platform lawfully, avoid fraudulent or abusive submissions, and independently assess an agency before transferring money. Do not send passports, identity documents, bank records, card details, passwords or other sensitive documents through a public form or an unsolicited WhatsApp message.
7. Agency responsibilities
An agency applicant confirms that its representative is authorised, its information is accurate, and it has permission to submit material for review and publication. Agencies remain responsible for licences, registrations, package accuracy, customer communications, payments, bookings, visas, refunds and fulfilment. UmrahScanr may correct, suspend, expire, archive or remove content when information is incomplete, outdated, disputed or unsafe.
8. Reports and complaints
The “Report incorrect information” feature is for listing review. Submitting a report does not create a formal dispute-resolution, refund or emergency service. For payment disputes, suspected fraud, visa issues or urgent travel problems, also contact the agency, payment provider and relevant authorities directly.
9. Availability and third-party services
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, package availability or a response from an agency. Links and services operated by agencies, WhatsApp, hosting providers and other third parties are governed by their own terms.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UmrahScanr is not responsible for an agency's acts or omissions, travel-service performance, visa decisions, itinerary changes, cancellations, payment loss, refunds, inaccurate third-party information or indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Intellectual property
The UmrahScanr name, site design and original platform content belong to UmrahScanr or its licensors. Agency names, logos, package posters and descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the site for personal package research but may not scrape, republish or commercially exploit its content without permission.
12. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how submitted information is handled. We may update these Terms when the platform or legal requirements change. The date below identifies the current version.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply. Questions may be sent through the official UmrahScanr Instagram account @umrahscanr. Do not send sensitive documents through Instagram.
