Agency Verification Policy

Verification helps travellers understand which agency information UmrahScanr has reviewed. It reduces uncertainty, but it does not remove the need to confirm package details and payment information directly with the agency.

Listed Agency

A Listed Agency has been accepted for publication, but has not completed the full UmrahScanr verification review.

  • The agency has authorized UmrahScanr to publish its profile and package information.
  • Basic business name, location and contact information have been reviewed.
  • The agency remains responsible for keeping its public information accurate and current.

UmrahScanr Verified

A verified agency has completed an additional review of its identity, office information, responsible contact and supporting business records.

  • Business identity and supporting registration information have been reviewed.
  • Office information and the responsible agency contact have been reviewed.
  • Public contact details and available supporting business documents have been checked.
  • The agency has approved its public profile and package content before publication.

What verification does not mean

UmrahScanr verification is not a government certification, insurance, financial guarantee, endorsement, or guarantee of future service performance. It does not guarantee package availability, visa approval, refunds, or the outcome of a booking.

Before paying, request a final written quotation, confirm the itinerary and cancellation terms, verify that the payment recipient matches the agency or legal proprietor, and obtain a receipt.

Review and status changes

Verification is based on the information available at the time of review. UmrahScanr may request updated records, change an agency’s status, suspend referrals, or remove a listing when information expires, changes, cannot be reconfirmed, or a credible complaint requires investigation.

Questions or concerns

If agency information appears incorrect, do not proceed with payment. Contact UmrahScanr and identify the agency or package concerned. A dedicated reporting form will be added as part of the complaints workflow.
